Success Story Rose Dixon

May 4, 2022

Rose is an amazing woman and has an emotional life story. I first met Rose approximately 5 years ago for a severe back problem that was stopping her sleep, walk and sit. Rose essentially could not function at work or everyday life. I said to Rose what is the most important thing for me to work on? Rose said immediately that if she could sleep without pain it would be a good start. Rose booked a treatment plan and post first treatment session slept for 14 hours! Something she had not done for 10 years.......

This is a normal reaction to sleep better as Interx works on the automatic element of your nervous system which is primary active when you are asleep to help with the body growth and repair. That is why sleep is so important for pain recovery and a good indicator of progress. While 14 hours is a record a normal reaction is initially better quality sleep then a increase in time. Rose finished her course of treatment for back pain which she had for 9 years. Rose felt it was due to been a senior nurse in her early career and working at a desk in recent times that had caused the back pain. Rose was able to stand and walk significantly better and did not need breaks as before. Rose could now go out for a day shopping and enjoy the experience pain free. Roses work meant lots of travel either on trains or driving and sitting had previously been problematic as the pain increased. Post treatment Rose did not have any travel problems apart from traffic.

2 years later Rose contacted me again to see if I could help her with accelerated recovery from knee replacement surgery. Rose had a intense package and was back to work in five weeks. A year later Rose had her other knee operated on and again had a intense recovery package. Rose was walking and moving well this time in 8 weeks. I have seen Rose recently only due to a foot problem on her most recent surgery leg caused by the surgery. When you have a knee replacement they align your leg anatomically square and are focused on getting it straight and the same length as your other leg. This poses a problem as most people have a specific gait and foot position that may not be square so causes pain. Worked on Roses gait pattern and standing position which has taken some practice.

Rose is always referring me to her friends and family and commenting on Facebook. Rose has commented that my treatment process should be more widely recognised. Rose could not believe the difference from her private physiotherapy she had post surgery as part of her package and working with me. Rose said "I would not have recovered as well or be as mobile without Stephen's hard work and dedication"
